One in a million, my lucky strike

The title of this post is completely ironic. Yesterday was the best and yet the worst day in my life. I went to Maroon 5's concert and it was certainly one of the best things ever. But when I arrived just before entering the venue the guards told me I couldn't bring my profesional camera with me. Imagine my situation, my face. Me and my two friends were so mad at that moment I didn't know what to do. I called my mom to have her pick my camera but the venue was way to far from my house and she was going to arrive late. I waited for an hour outside on my own because I had obliged my two friends to go inside, until my best friend showed up with a solution: I could leave my camera in her car. And so I did. Until that moment I was going through a rough time, but when I finally got to the venue I can say I have never enjoyed a concert so much. I chose a comfy style, with the colours that I use the most (let's say with the sweater I use the most) and the beautiful vintage glasses were the cherry on top. Yay to the outfit pics in this post.

El titulo de este post es completamente irónico. Ayer fue el mejor y el mejor día de mi vida. Fui a ver a Maroon 5 y fue una de las mejores cosas que me paso, pero cuando llegue, justo antes de entrar, los guardias me dijeron que no se podía entrar cámaras profesionales. Imagínense la situación y mi cara. Mis dos amigas y yo estábamos tan enojadas en ese momento que no sabíamos que hacer. Llame a mi mama para que venga a buscar la cámara pero el estadio estaba muy lejos de mi casa y iba a llegar tarde. Espere por una hora afuera, sola porque obligue a mis dos amigas a que entren, hasta que apareció mi mejor amiga con una solución: que deje la cámara en su auto. Y así fue pero hasta eso momento la pase mal, pero igual cuando finalmente llegue al estadio puedo decir que nunca disfrute de un concierto tanto como ayer. Elegí un outfit cómodo, con los colores que suelo usar (en realidad con el pulover que suelo usar mas) y mis hermosos anteojos vintage fueron la cereza de la torta. Grand Splendid

This has actually been a busy week. Too much homework, school is already overwhelming. But I'm happy and when someone's happy you see the world in bright colours, even if it's gray all day (hence the lack of outfits). Last sunday I went to one of my favourite spots from Buenos Aires: El Ateneo Grand Splendid. It's not enough to say that it is the MOST amazing book shop I've ever been in. I'm a huge fan of books so I could spend a whole day sitting there among their beautiful covers. So this time I went and instead of buying a few copies of books for me, I bought my favourite, The catcher in the rye, book for my best friend. How cute am I? Kidding. Anyway, then I got two books from my lovely aunt and they are waiting for me to read them. So here I leave you some pictures from that day and some pictures of my new journal in which I draw and doodle a lot.

Esta fue una semana super ocupada. Demasiada tarea, la escuela ya me esta frustrando. Pero soy feliz y cuando uno es feliz ve todo brillante, aunque todos los días sean grises (he aquí la causa de la falta de outfits posts en mi blog). El domingo pasado fui a uno de mis lugares preferidos en todo Buenos Aires: El Ateneo Grand Splendid. No alcanza con decir que es la MEJOR librería en la que estuve. Soy una gran fan de los libros entonces me podría pasar un día entero sentada ahí entre las hermosas tapas. Pero esta vez en vez de ir y comprarme un par de libros, decidí comprarle mi libro preferido, El guardián entre el centeno, a mi mejor amiga. Cuan tierna soy? Chiste. Después me regalo dos libros mi tía genial que me están esperando para que los lea. Por eso les dejo un par de fotos de ese día y otras de mi nuevo cuaderno en el que dibujo y garabateo un montón.
