Hi everyone! As I had already mentioned a million times on the blog, these abscentees are a consequence of school exams and stuff I have to prepare for school but I'm back with this post, showing you an outfit I fell in love with the minute I decided to wear it, and almost all the pieces were bought in LA. I was inspired in the Givenchy F/W 2011 of course with those animal prints (the one with the shark and rottwailer are my favorites) and beautiful dark colors and the bag reminded me of the best of Valentino this year, studs, studs and more studs. Hope you like the pictures and the outfit! I promise I'll be posting more from now on since my summer holidays are about to start.

Como mencione un millon de veces en el blog, las ausecias son una consecuencia de los examenes y las cosas que tengo que preparar para la escuela pero estoy devuelta con este post, mostrandoles un outfit del que me enamore en el minuto que decidi ponermelo y casi todas las cosas fueron compradas en LA. Me inspire en la coleccion de Givenchy F/W 2011 con esas estampas de animales (la del rottwailer y el tiburon mis preferidas) y esos hermosos colores oscuros y la cartera especialmente me hizo acordar a lo mejor de la maison Valentino este año, tachas, tachas y mas tachas. Espero que les gusten las fotos y el outfit! Prometo que voy a estar actualizando el blog mas seguido desde ahora ya que mis vacaciones de verano estan por empezar

Cirque du soleil

 

 

 

After spending my morning surrounded by teachers and my mates at school, I went home to change my preppy outfit to another a little bit more suitable for the occasion. I went to a very informal wedding just to say hi to the recently married couple and congratulate them and then I departed with all my family to watch a show I have always loved: Cirque du soleil. Despite some technical difficulties the show was amazing and each of the performers deserved standing ovations.
Remember when I said I was ordering a Celine boston lookalike from Sheinside? Well, it finally arrived and it was worth the wait! I adore it and I can also say it was one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Despues de pasar mi mañana alrededor de profesores y mis compañeros en la escuela, me fui a mi casa a cambiarme y pasar de ese look tan escolar a uno mas acorde a la situacion. Fui a un casamiento muy informal y casual a saludar a los recien casados y felicitarnos, y luego parti con mi familia a ver uno de los shows que siempre ame: Cirque du soleil. A pesar de las fallas tecnicas que hubo fue un show increible y cada uno de las personas que participo se merece ovaciones.
Se acuerdan cuando les dije que habia pedido una cartera tipo la Celine Boston bag en Sheinside? Bueno, me llego y no puedo estar mas feliz! La espera valio la pena, la amo y puedo decir que fue una de mis mejores inversiones.

One in a million, my lucky strike

The title of this post is completely ironic. Yesterday was the best and yet the worst day in my life. I went to Maroon 5's concert and it was certainly one of the best things ever. But when I arrived just before entering the venue the guards told me I couldn't bring my profesional camera with me. Imagine my situation, my face. Me and my two friends were so mad at that moment I didn't know what to do. I called my mom to have her pick my camera but the venue was way to far from my house and she was going to arrive late. I waited for an hour outside on my own because I had obliged my two friends to go inside, until my best friend showed up with a solution: I could leave my camera in her car. And so I did. Until that moment I was going through a rough time, but when I finally got to the venue I can say I have never enjoyed a concert so much. I chose a comfy style, with the colours that I use the most (let's say with the sweater I use the most) and the beautiful vintage glasses were the cherry on top. Yay to the outfit pics in this post.

El titulo de este post es completamente irónico. Ayer fue el mejor y el mejor día de mi vida. Fui a ver a Maroon 5 y fue una de las mejores cosas que me paso, pero cuando llegue, justo antes de entrar, los guardias me dijeron que no se podía entrar cámaras profesionales. Imagínense la situación y mi cara. Mis dos amigas y yo estábamos tan enojadas en ese momento que no sabíamos que hacer. Llame a mi mama para que venga a buscar la cámara pero el estadio estaba muy lejos de mi casa y iba a llegar tarde. Espere por una hora afuera, sola porque obligue a mis dos amigas a que entren, hasta que apareció mi mejor amiga con una solución: que deje la cámara en su auto. Y así fue pero hasta eso momento la pase mal, pero igual cuando finalmente llegue al estadio puedo decir que nunca disfrute de un concierto tanto como ayer. Elegí un outfit cómodo, con los colores que suelo usar (en realidad con el pulover que suelo usar mas) y mis hermosos anteojos vintage fueron la cereza de la torta.
